Email Reminders

Use Email Reminders to automatically follow up with survey invitees.

Updated over a week ago

Email Reminders are automated follow-up emails sent to people who have received a survey invitation sent via Iterate but have not completed the survey. They remind recipients to open and complete the survey.

You can schedule one or more reminders per survey. Email Reminders help you recover respondents who might have overlooked or forgotten the first invitation.

Note: Email Reminders are only available for Surveys delivered via Iterate email.

When to Use Email Reminders

Use Email Reminders if:

  • You expect a low completion rate after the initial invite.

  • You want to remind people who saw but did not start the survey.

  • Your survey results depend on a target response rate.

  • You want to send reminders at specific intervals (e.g. after 1 day, 3 days, 7 days).

How to Add an Email Reminder

  1. When looking at your survey, navigate to the Send survey tab.

  2. Make sure you are looking at the Send with Iterate view.

  3. Locate the Schedule reminder emails section.

  4. Click the Schedule a reminder button.

  5. Configure reminder settings:

    1. Delay after initial invite (e.g. in hours or days), or send immediately

    2. Customize the reminder email subject line

    3. Customize the reminder email intro message

  6. (Optional) Add multiple reminders if you want more than one follow-up.

Make sure to schedule reminders before the survey is sent. Once a survey is live, reminders will follow the configured schedule.
