Deleting & Anonymizing User Data

Use our search tool to find user's and delete or anonymize their data

Updated over a year ago

Privacy and control over user data is a top priority, to this end, we provide a tool to help administrators address user requests related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) "Right to be Forgotten" provision.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to find users by their email address or external id and either delete or anonymize their data:

1. Accessing the Tool:

2. Searching for a User:

  • In the tool, you'll see a search bar or field.

  • Enter the email address or External id of the user whose data you'd like to manage.

  • Click on the "Search" button.

3. Reviewing the Search Results:

  • After searching, if there is any data associated with this user, you will see it listed. If no results are found, there is no data for that user.

4. Deleting or Anonymizing:

Once you've confirmed the user, you'll have two options:

  1. Delete User Data:

    • Click on the "Delete Data" button.

    • All of the user's data will be permanently deleted from our platform. Please note that this action is irreversible.

  2. Anonymize User Data:

    • Click on the "Anonymize Data" button.

    • This will remove all personally identifiable information from the user's profile, but their survey responses will remain, now dissociated from the user's identity.
