Responses are aggregated and summarized on your dashboard

Updated over a week ago

Each survey includes a dashboard that aggregates and summarizes the responses. You can find this by clicking on your survey and going to the "View feedback" tab.

The responses to each question are shown in the order they appear on the survey. Depending on the question type you may see a chart showing the aggregated results, see below for more details on each question type. In addition to aggregated responses, you can also view all individual responses to a question by clicking the "See all responses" on the question.

The raw responses to these questions are displayed.

Single Select, Multiple Select, Rating Scale, Emoji

Responses are displayed as a bar chart where the size of the bar represents the number of people that selected that option.

Ranking

Ranking questions display a bar chart where each bar is the sum of the weighted score for that option. Generally, options selected first are given a higher value. The weight of a given response is equal to the number of options in the questions minus the order in which it was selected. For example, if a question has 5 options, the option selected first is given 5 points. The option selected second is given 4 points. The third option is given 3 points, and so on. Options that are selected last or options that were not selected at all are given 1 point.

Example:

A question has 5 responses (A, B, C, D, E). If someone selects A first and B second, and C third, the scores for each options would be: A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 1, E = 1.

NPS

NPS questions display the calculated NPS score and the ratio of promoters, detractors, and passives. You can learn more about NPS calculation.
