Survey Display Options

Learn more about where and when your website survey will display

Updated over a week ago

Iterate surveys will display in one of the four corners of your website only once all of the targeting and qualifying criteria have been met.

Additionally, you can choose from one of our display options:

Immediately

A survey will display immediately when a visitor lands on a page where they are qualified to see a survey.

When the visitor is about to leave the page (Exit intent)

A survey will only show when we detect that a visitor is about to leave a page where they are qualified to see a survey.

  • For example, we detect if someone is moving their mouse out of the browser viewport or using a keyboard shortcut with the intention of closing, or moving away from your site.

  • We recommend showing a survey in the top left position for ideal visibility and to maximize response rates.

  • Our Exit intent survey type will not work on mobile as we are unable to detect when somebody's going to leave.

When the visitor has scrolled halfway

A survey will only show when we detect that a visitor has scrolled halfway down a page where they are qualified to see a survey.

After a specific time on site

The survey will only show when the visitor has been on the page for the specified amount of time you have set.
